As part of the Information System department, the IT Regional Manager :
• Acts as the key contact for all topics related to Information Technology and Systems
• Develops and maintains a highly responsive, business focused, customer driven IT Organization within the Region
• Actively participates in the IT personnel development in the context of the wider global IS community (identify potentials, provide opportunities for job enlargement and enrichment…)
• Aligns regional IT strategy with global IT strategy, assuring that regional specific requirements are considered in the development of the global strategy and vice versa
• Through discussion with business managers in the region, develops IT initiatives and deducts project proposals; cooperate with business managers in substantiating project proposals and assures overall compliance with the IT governance process
• Secures appropriate infrastructure, system and application support in the Region through Global IT or other provider, serving as key contact to providers and assuring professional provider management to Global IT.
• Oversees and directs local/regional IT initiatives in compliance with the global IT governance process
• Works with IT customers to identify and implement cost saving initiatives in the area of IT
• Ensures professional IT project execution, secures appropriate resources from the regional/global resource pool, assuring delivery of high quality results
• Actively contributes with his/her team to the implementation of global IT initiatives ( ERPs, Messaging…) in the Region
• Owns the regional IT budgeting process and contributes to the controlling process
• Acts as a member of the extended Global IT management team, dedicating substantial work and time to global topics, interacting frequently with the other Global IT management team members
• Ensures operational management of his/her team members in liaison with the Global Infrastructure Management : annual reviews, training plan, personal development, objectives
• Defines and implements the technical architectures for the countries in the region while being in line with the Global standards. These architectures must support the applications services and local infrastructure services (authentification, storage, backups, network)
• Drives regional projects or assigned global projects for the region.
• Is the regional IT interface for the business and relays to global teams IT requests, issues & concerns |
| Profil recherché |
• Bachelor/Master level in Computer Science or other related field
• Experience of 5 years or more in managing an IT operational entity at international level.
• High level of Healthcare industry knowledge
• Good and proactive communication skills towards local/regional business management and Global IT teams, including sensitivity to people with various educational or cultural backgrounds
• Capacity to translate business needs into clear IT proposals. Customer oriented with a strong will to help and find solutions for his/her customer base
• Sound knowledge of major Information Systems such as ERP, CRM, BI, HR, QM systems.
• Good understanding of infrastructure services (Network, Server, Desktop environments)
• Experience in PC support, server configuration and network implementation (LAN, Internet provider).
• Excellent English (spoken, written) – French knowledge a plus but not required
• Capacity to manage limited and distributed IT team in Asia Pacific region; freedom to travel internationally
• Leadership skills to motivate and support local/regional IT team
• Fully autonomous – needs to be sufficiently technical to support the day-to-day running of the subsidiary IT systems. |
